Arriving at Mexico City International Airport (AICM/MEX) is straightforward: clear immigration and customs, walk straight past the people offering taxis and tours, and meet your host at the arrivals exit. Tipping your driver is always optional and never required — your fare is already all-inclusive.
What to expect on arrival
After you land, you clear immigration, collect your bags, and pass through customs. Then you walk out toward the arrivals exit. The whole process is well signed; allow time for the immigration queue, which can be longer during busy arrival windows.
Finding your host
Your host waits just outside the arrivals exit doors in a company shirt, holding a sign with your name and our logo. They will walk you to your Sedán or SUV-Van and confirm your booking before your driver brings the vehicle to the curb.
Do you tip the driver?
A tip is always optional. Your fare already includes the vehicle, driver, taxes and tolls, so there is no obligation. If your driver gives you a great experience and you would like to show appreciation, a tip is welcome but entirely at your discretion.
- Have your host sign or booking confirmation handy as you exit.
- Keep walking past anyone who approaches you inside the terminal.
- Tipping is optional — your fare is all-inclusive.
- Ask your driver for local tips; recommendations are part of the ride.
