About this transfer

GuideUpdated June 28, 20261 min read

A private transfer from Mexico City International Airport (AICM/MEX) starts from about $31 USD in a Sedán to central city areas, rising with distance and vehicle size. Every fare is per vehicle and all-inclusive — driver, taxes and tolls — and your exact price is shown before you pay.

How transfer pricing works

Prices are set per vehicle, not per person, and depend on two things: where you are going and which vehicle you choose. A Sedán (up to 4) is the lowest fare; an SUV-Van (up to 7) costs more for the added seats and space. Every fare is all-inclusive, covering the driver, taxes and tolls from the airport to your address.

Sample Sedán "from" prices by area (USD, per vehicle)
DestinationFrom (Sedán)
Central Mexico City (Roma, Centro, Reforma)From $31
Polanco / Condesa / Del ValleFrom $34
Santa FeFrom $54
AIFA (Felipe Ángeles)From $125
TolucaFrom $147
CuernavacaFrom $194
PueblaFrom $254

What is included in the price

The fare you see includes the private vehicle, a professional driver, taxes and tolls, and flight tracking so your pickup adjusts to delays. There are no booking add-ons at the vehicle, and a tip is always optional. The SUV-Van fare follows the same all-inclusive rule for larger parties.

Two airports in Mexico City: AICM and AIFA

All prices above are for AICM/MEX, Mexico City International Airport — the main airport most international flights use. Mexico City also has a second, newer airport, AIFA (Felipe Ángeles), about 50 kilometers north of AICM. If your itinerary connects between the two airports on the same day, that is a separate inter-airport route, not a city transfer, and it is priced and timed differently from the fares above.

Price by Mexico City neighborhood

Beyond the general area groupings above, here is how the Sedán "from" fare compares across five popular Mexico City neighborhoods we cover in detail — each with its own guide to travel time and what is nearby.
